NSM rolls out idle steel production after debt cuts

Nakornthai Strip Mills, the ailing steel firm that recently sold its shares to raise funds for starting up its long idle steel plant said on Thursday that it had begun the production of hot-rolled steel at its facilities on Friday.
We have successfully started our production and hope to run to full capacity within the next three to four months, Sawasdi Horrungruang, pictured right, chairman of NSM, said in a telephone interview.
